• Question: why does everyone keep buying toilet paper and pasta to protect coronavirus, will it help? :)

      I think people are just a little scared that the virus will cause some disruption so they want to be prepared in case they have to stay at home for a couple of weeks. It doesn’t hurt to be prepared but toilet paper and pasta won’t protect from the virus!

      It won’t stop you getting the virus, I think people are just scared that they won’t be able to leave the house so are stockpiling certain items.

      haha!! I have no idea…. This is the difficult thing – to make sure people are informed about what is going on without creating mass panic which is definitely not helpful.

      I think it is more a panic response to the situation. People want to be prepared in case they need to isolate. It is something that is within their control so it makes them feel better.
