  I don’t really use automated machines, so I can’t answer this one, sorry!

  It depends on what type of machine it is. We’re trying to develop a test which can tell someone if they have a urine infection, and as a start we are working on a false positive rate of less than 5%. Some would have to be much more stringent than that, though.
