      My biggest achievement has been getting accepted into a PhD programme! I worked really hard to get here and I’m really proud I’ve achieved it.

      My biggest achievement so far was probably the thesis that I wrote when I completed my PhD. Hopefully in my current job I can do even better!

      My kids and (some of) my students. It is so rewarding to see student go from young first years to excellent scientists with the skills and ambition to make a positive difference in the world.

      For me it still feels like getting my first Trainee Biomedical Scientist post and realising I was good at it.

      So far it’s been getting my undergraduate degree because I worked my butt off to get good grades. Hopefully in a few years time I can say it will be my PhD.
