• Question: What can the automated machines test for?

      I’m not totally sure which machines you mean. We have automated machines in our lab to extract DNA from our samples, and to make loads more of that DNA in a reaction called PCR. We’re trying to make a little machine which can tell you if you have an infection in your urine, too.

      I don’t really use automated machines that often, so I’m not the best person to answer this!
