I was lucky that I was always quite good at science at school. There were bits I found difficult but the key is to work hard at the difficult bits until you understand them!

I really liked biology and chemistry at school, some of it was difficult, but I was interested enough that I enjoyed learning it so worked really hard at it. But, I found physics really difficult, I thought the way it was taught was quite boring and only really liked learning about space, so I definitely struggled with this. My only advice if you find science difficult is to try your hardest and ask for help if you’re struggling!

I found some of biology really tricky… my brain has never been very good at learning lots of information it isn’t interested in, and there is SO much information in biology. Some of it I loved, but could never get excited by anatomy. I remember finding DNA structure really hard, too, but now I love it. Keep at it!

I thought biology was quite an easy one – there is just a lot of new terminology/words to remember. Also I was lucky, my biology teacher made the lessons really interesting and she knew how to motivate us to try hard.
