No – I know how lucky I am to get paid to do something I love, and even if in the future I go on to do something else, i will never regret the opportunities and experiences that my science career has given me.

No, it’s hard work and can be frustrating sometimes but the good parts outweigh the bad so no regrets from me!

Not at all. And I enjoy it more and more as I get involved in new initiatives. My career is not just a job I go to and come back home. It’s about many initiatives I take part in – conferences, educational events, teaching others, helping in many projects. It’s exciting.
As with any career it is as good as you make it for yourself. No university can guarantee you a great job afterwards, if you just sit and wait for it. You have to be enthusiastic, proactive and go out to the wold to meet and talk to as many people as possible and look for exciting opportunities you would like to try.
