      I do, it’s hard work but it can be really interesting and satisfying

      I love my job, doing a PhD can sometimes be really hard but it’s so interesting and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else right now.

      Absolutely! It’s definitely hard work but I’ve met some awesome people and done some really cool things, and that’s only 1 year into a PhD.

      Yes I do. I think no matter what job you have it has to be something that you enjoy and ideally feel passionate about!

      yes, love it! I feel really lucky to get paid for what I do. I get to be a microbiology geek, and it is so varied and has given me so many opportunities – to meet people, to travel, to make a difference, to challenge myself. It’s been amazing so far!
